Irish Brothers is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her bachelor’s degree from The University at Buffalo and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Irish is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist and is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Irish focuses on providing a comfortable therapeutic environment that allows her clients to be themselves without fear of judgement.
Irish’s approach is integrative and flexible, utilizing a variety of different evidence-based treatment approaches that allow her clients to explore their emotions and reach their mental health goals. Irish’s therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-informed care, and is trained in EMDR, incorporating these approaches when appropriate. Irish targets therapeutic learning styles based on an individual’s needs including exploring emotions through expressive art and play activities when appropriate.

Outside of work, Irish loves to spend time with her family. On weekends in the summer, you can find Irish coaching her children’s soccer team, going to the park, going to concerts, hiking, or simply enjoying a quiet movie night with her family.
