Dale Winchell, LCSW, is an experienced licensed clinical social worker who works with adults and adolescents. Dale has worked in an outpatient setting and in private practice with clients experiencing significant mental health concerns, including an intensive outpatient program with both adults and adolescents. He is licensed to practice in the states of New York and Maryland.
Dale earned his Master's Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York with a focus on trauma-informed care. Dale is a neurodiversity affirming therapist and has experience helping individuals with disabilities manage issues at work and at school.
Dale’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: -Anxiety -ADHD -Borderline Personality Disorder -Burnout and work-related stress -Depression -Trauma & PTSD – Men's issues – Relationship issues -Working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, including specific experience with individuals who identify as transgender.
Dale is experienced in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Supportive Psychotherapy, to name a few. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Dale has made Western New York his home for the past 6 years. Dale spends his time outside of work enjoying nature, walking his dogs, and playing video games and board games.
