Mary Ann Snyder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years of experience in health and human services. She attended the State University of New York, earning both a BS in Nursing, and then got her Masters of Social Work
with a concentration in addiction studies.
Throughout her career Mary Ann has counseled adults who facing a variety of
emotional and psychological challenges including, but not limited to: depression,
anxiety, adjustment disorders, end of life issues, grief and loss, and women’s
issues. She has experience working with adults fighting an alcohol addiction as
well as helping adult children of an alcoholic parent.
Mary Ann finds satisfaction in helping clients identify their strengths and
developing healthy coping mechanisms by exploring and reframing life
experiences. Additionally, she received specialized training in grief counseling
from Dr. Thomas Frantz at the University of Buffalo School of Counseling and
Educational Psychology.
Mary Ann believes “Everyone deserves a good listening to,” and is available for
