Rebecca Levy is a compassionate licensed clinical social worker with over 8 years of clinical experience helping adolescents and adults address mental health and substance use concerns. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a focus on Trauma and Substance use. Originally from Long Island, Rebecca now happily calls herself a Buffalonian – Go Bills!
Rebecca believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with clients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their goals. She strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings freely.
Rebecca’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:
– Anxiety – Depression – Family concerns – Trauma and PTSD – Relationship issues – Women’s issues – Gender and Sexuality, where she has extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Rebecca is trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), in order to address individual needs effectively.
